Guide: Self-Ordering With QR Codes

With our new digital ordering system from luca, we want to offer our guests a comfortable way to place their orders whenever and wherever they want.

Guest places an order

  • Guests will scan the QR code on their table with their phone.
  • They browse the menu and pick their favorite items.
  • They can add a message, for example for special requests (like “no onions”).

Guest pays from phone or charges room

  • Guests can either pay directly from their phone or charge their room
    check step 5 a & b
  • They can also leave a tip! :)
  • After finalizing their order, the guests see a confirmation and order number on their screen.

Order appears in cash register

  • The order appears in the cash register and the receipt is printed as usual:
  • They browse the menu and pick their favorite items.
  • They can add a message, for example for special requests (like “no onions”).

Add tip

  • Check the order details in the POS to see if the guest has left a tip.
  • Book the given tip amount via the grey TIPS button.

Close the table

  • Close the table to print the bill.

    Click the
    LUCA BUTTON
    if the guest already paid by phone

    Click
    ROOM CHARGE
    if the guest wants to bill on their room, details are the order info (don’t click luca here!)
